Autumn Darah (b. 2001, AL) is a newly Chicago-based artist from all parts of Alabama. Her practice is rooted in her personal exploration of the displacement of self, acceptance of self, and all the feelings in between. Through mixed media, southern iconography, and whimsical colors, Darah alchemizes visual metaphors into an exploration of personal experiences and the emotionality that defines her time in the deep South.

Darah received a BFA in Digital Media and Painting with honors from The University of Alabama in 2023. She has shown in galleries throughout Alabama, including The Bells Gallery in Dothan, Sella-Granata Gallery in Tuscaloosa, and The Birmingham Art Alliance in Birmingham.
